Background optimisation
The first (and easiest) step in optimising the efficiency of a biogas plant is to increase gas production through the targeted use of trace elements in the fermentation. We would therefore like to briefly illustrate our approach when using our
ProEn trace element mixture as an example of our technical consulting:
Recording of plant data
We compile the core data of the plant as the basis of our work. This includes the size of the fermenter, the current output actually being achieved, as well as the composition and quantity of the substrate being used. In addition, we will examine any available analysis data, such as the current acid spectrum.
Analysis of the trace element level
In ongoing operation, we will take a sample from the fermenter and analyse the prevailing trace element level. We compile ProEn Trace Elements individually for each plant based on that analysis, and calculate a recommended monthly dosage to set the fermenter to an ideal level.
The analysis is free for customers using ProEn Trace Elements. On request, we will also perform an analysis and provide a detailed recommendation independent of a ProEn Trace Elements order. Naturally, we charge our client for this.
